This Senior Director will manage Sodexo's largest and most complex Healthcare client relationships, serving as a senior relationship leader and trusted advisor to client executives. The role focuses on owning enterprise governance, resolving escalations, and expanding share of wallet through a multi-year growth plan.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary executive relationship owner for a single $50M+ account, building deep partnerships across the client’s C-suite and system leadership
- Develop and lead a 1–3-year enterprise account strategy aligned to client priorities, system initiatives, and Sodexo growth objectives
- Chair executive governance with clear agendas, decisions, actions, and follow-through
- Own escalation resolution, leading complex issues to closure by aligning internal leaders and maintaining client trust
- Identify and shape growth opportunities across sites and services, aligning delivery capability and positioning value for the client
- Qualify opportunities and engage Sales when ready, partnering closely while maintaining accountability for the overall client relationship and strategy
- Establish proactive voice-of-client loops and use satisfaction signals to drive action across internal teams
- Lead contract stewardship and renewal readiness, maintaining oversight of contract governance, obligations, and compliance
- Partner with a senior operational counterpart to ensure alignment on priorities and performance
- Coordinate effectively across Sales, Operations, Finance, OpEx, Marketing, and other functions to deliver outcomes
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise account management, strategic client partnerships, customer success, or complex commercial roles (Healthcare preferred)
- Demonstrated success leading large, multi-site, highly complex client relationships with senior executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to chair executive governance, manage high-stakes escalations, and drive decisions through ambiguity
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to build share-of-wallet expansion strategies and translate them into executable roadmaps
- Experience with complex contract structures, contract stewardship, change controls, and procurement/renewal dynamics
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and comfort using data to tell a clear story
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 10 years of management experience
- 7 years of functional experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise account management, strategic client partnerships, customer success, or complex commercial roles (Healthcare preferred), with 10 years of management experience and 7 years of functional experience.
