Senior Copywriter

About This Role

This role involves crafting compelling and culturally relevant content for various digital channels, connecting with a young audience, and driving business impact. The Senior Copywriter will help shape the brand's voice, focusing on meaningful financial progress for millions of members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with creatives to translate strong ideas into bold, breakthrough executions.
• Develop engaging content for email, homepage, in-app, and social media channels.
• Inspire the team with insights on reaching and engaging an 18-24 audience.
• Generate fresh ideas that scale the business through brand consideration and product awareness.
• Partner with marketing and agency teams to develop innovative campaigns.
• Set a high creative bar for the brand and deliver work that drives measurable outcomes.
• Scale ideas up or down to meet briefs, budgets, and business goals.

Requirements

• 4+ years of copywriting experience in-house and/or at an agency
• Portfolio demonstrating high-performing, concept-driven, and high-craft copywriting, including digital work
• Ability to self-edit with strong attention to detail and provide creative recommendations
• Proven knowledge of social media marketing practices, platform nuances, and short-form video
• Strong time management with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to peers and leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelors preferred.
• 4+ years of copywriting experience in-house and/or at an agency.

Nice to Have

• Experience with consumer finance
• Experience in a high-volume in-house studio
• Strong organizational acumen with the ability to navigate internal systems and structure
• Experience setting priorities, problem solving, multitasking, and working in a dynamic environment
