Senior AWS Developer

About This Role

Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS, with a focus on serverless architectures. This role requires deep expertise in Python, AWS CDK, and enterprise-level cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy serverless applications on AWS
• Work extensively with Lambda, S3, IAM, SQS, Aurora, Glue, CloudWatch, and Lake Formation
• Create and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and AWS CLI
• Support EC2 migrations, Docker installations, and overall cloud modernization efforts
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and data pipelines
• Work with relational databases (Aurora, MySQL, Athena) and write efficient SQL queries
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments
• Ensure applications are secure, highly available, and scalable

Requirements

• 14+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS services, especially serverless technologies
• Solid Python development experience
• Proven experience with AWS CDK
• Good understanding of AWS architecture, development, and deployment
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Aurora, MySQL, Athena)
• Experience working with CI/CD tools
• Hands-on experience with EC2 migrations, Docker, and cloud modernization
• Working knowledge of CloudFormation templates, AWS CLI, and orchestration tools

Qualifications

• 14+ years of overall IT experience

Nice to Have

• AWS Certification (Developer or Solutions Architect)
• Experience with Angular/AngularJS and JavaScript
