Senior Accounting Manager

About This Role

This role will lead and oversee accounting operations for a fast-growing digital asset organization, focusing on accuracy, compliance, and process excellence. The Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for month-end close, ensuring accounting standards compliance, and driving continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate recording, reconciliation, and review of all financial transactions
• Prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations, including revenue, deferred revenue, accounts receivable, leases (ASC 842), banking, and investments
• Record and reconcile revenue in accordance with ASC 606 and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, schedules, and management reports, including cash flow, capital expenditures, investments, and variance analyses
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve close-related issues, investigate variances, and maintain the integrity of financial data
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis to inform business decision-making
• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Document and maintain accounting policies and procedures in alignment with GAAP and best practices
• Coordinate audit and tax support, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and responses to auditors and tax advisors

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and U.S. accounting standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a foundation in Public Accounting
