About This Role

Provide technical expertise and perform day-to-day work activities for the Chandler Fab/Site Machine Shop, ensuring tools, equipment, and processes are maintained and operated effectively. Support on-site Semiconductor Fabs, Labs, Contractors, and Facilities by performing repairs, modifications, and manufacturing of various hardware components.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise and day-to-day work activities for the Chandler Fab/Site Machine Shop
  • Effectively execute tasks to maintain and operate tools, equipment, and processes for the Machine Shop
  • Support on-site Semiconductor Fabs, Labs, Contractors, and Facilities
  • Repair, modify, or manufacture hardware, subassemblies, exhaust and gas supply lines, and machine tooling
  • Maintain stock inventory and order replacements as necessary
  • Produce quantity jobs with efficiency to meet deadline requirements
  • Complete documentation and train others
  • Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills
  • Efficiently manage work time

Requirements

  • Problem-solving collaboration skills
  • Fabrication and machining skills of metals and plastics
  • Proficiency with common Machine Shop tools and equipment

Qualifications

  • AA, AS, AAS in electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or industrial engineering related discipline, or equivalent experience/military training

Nice to Have

  • Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions
