About This Role

Serve as a Tactical Security Ambassador, leveraging law enforcement training and expertise to manage high-risk situations for an aerospace manufacturer. This role involves advanced security responsibilities, enforcing policies, and acting as a critical liaison with external agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Guard entry and exit points, verify credentials, and manage visitor logs to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
  • Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
  • Verify identities and control access to secure areas, ensuring security protocols are followed in restricted areas
  • React quickly to threats or incidents
  • Monitor advanced surveillance cameras and alarm systems in a control center
  • Write clear, detailed reports for management and compliance audits, documenting incidents and preventive actions
  • Assist with internal investigations related to theft, workplace violence, or breaches of security procedures
  • Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
  • Act as the primary contact point between the manufacturer's security team and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies
  • Provide armed response capabilities when situations escalate beyond the scope of unarmed personnel
  • Offer security presence during high-profile visits to ensure protection and orderly access

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CA security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings
  • CA Exposed Firearm Permit
  • California CCW
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
  • Minimum of 5 years of Law Enforcement experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of Law Enforcement experience
