As a Processing Teller, you will verify and process cash deposits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and financial regulations. This role involves reconciling out-of-balance conditions and reporting suspicious activities.
Responsibilities
- Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering
- Perform deposit processing functions including reconciling any out-of-balance conditions
- Maintain compliance with all company policies including state and federal regulations
- Identify Counterfeit, Suspicious Activity (SAR), and any potential AML Red Flag Transactions and immediately report to Supervisor
- Meet or exceed all established deposit processing productivity standards
- Verify cash settlements are accurate and transfer funds to appropriate vaults
- Identify and share process improvement opportunities
- Work independently without direct supervision or oversight
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong data entry skills and experience
- Detail-oriented with basic Math skills
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Cash handling and balancing experience
- 1-2 years teller experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
