Seasonal Associate

About This Role

This temporary Seasonal Associate role involves setting up, stocking, and preparing a new Harbor Freight Tools store for its opening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and stocking of a new store
• Load and unload trucks
• Stock merchandise
• Greet customers
• Work collaboratively to ensure a timely store opening
• Be on-time for shifts
• Complete daily tasks as per the new-store pre-opening checklist
• Perform inventory management

Requirements

• Open availability: morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week
• Regular attendance
• Physical ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
• Physical ability to stand/move for entire shift
• Physical ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist and safely climb up/down ladder
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
• Ability to work in a team environment

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Experience working in a retail environment preferred.
