Join E-Therapy as a full-time Hybrid School Psychologist supporting K-12 students in Columbia, SC, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services, collaborating with school teams to foster academic, social-emotional, and positive behavioral development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral strengths and needs
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly and understandably to students, families, teachers, and school staff
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and academic interventions
- Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to students individually and in group settings to address social-emotional concerns, behavioral challenges, and mental health issues
- Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide strategies and interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Conduct crisis intervention and support students and families in crisis or emergency situations, collaborating with school administrators and community resources as needed
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities related to school climate, positive behavior supports, social-emotional learning, and mental health promotion
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of psychological assessments, counseling sessions, consultation meetings, and other relevant documentation
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment measures, testing procedures, and diagnostic criteria
- Excellent understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and intervention techniques
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school or educational setting (preferred)
