The SCF Casepack Associate, A Shift, provides raw materials for production, reviews and packages finished products, and ensures compliance with quality and safety regulations. This role involves operating and monitoring equipment, performing machine set-ups, and maintaining inventory management systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide raw material for SCF and Production
- Review and package finished product from SCF
- Complete necessary paperwork for raw material and finished product
- Maintain inventory management system
- Ensure compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Operate and monitor equipment cycles, with responsibility for quality, production, waste, and machine workability/accountability
- Perform machine set-up and changeovers
- Understand and operate inspection & testing equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on cutting machines and equipment
- Identify and correct dimensional and cosmetic defects according to QC specifications
- Record accurate inspection and process data for controlled documents/paperwork
- Tend to the overall cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area
- Utilize Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to manage material to production orders and machines
- Move raw material to staging areas by forklift, electric pallet jack, or pallet jack
- Present shift reporting and Shift Start Up information to operators, technicians, and supervisors
- Verify process steps are completed correctly in batch records
- Read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures
- Train associates and answer procedural questions as needed
- Work around potentially hazardous materials/chemicals and energy sources
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or at least 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience or high school diploma/GED.

- Use of measurement devices
- Experience with quality records
