About This Role

As an Assembler 1, General at BD Pharmaceutical Company, you will be trained to prepare and manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices. This role ensures adherence to quality, environmental, and safety regulations, contributing to the company's mission of helping people live healthy lives.

Responsibilities

• Train to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices.
• Possess a basic understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.
• Follow GMP,s and standard operating procedures.
• Transport materials safely using material handling equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures, monitor personal and peer behaviors, and maintain proper housekeeping.
• Complete all regulatory training as assigned (GPM,s, ISO14001, OSHA, etc.).
• Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines.
• Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Nice to Have

• 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to read, write, and understand Basic English
• Operating skills of manufacturing equipment, tools, and hand/pallet jack
• Problem solving skills
