About This Role

This entry-level Salesperson position supports the DIY business by achieving sales and service objectives, maintaining store standards, and assisting with inventory processes. The role requires basic automotive knowledge and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Perform inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

Requirements

• Ability to speak and write English effectively
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs
• Ability to use basic math accurately
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends
• Basic driving and navigation ability
• Ability to use delivery board system
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts
• Safety knowledge and skills
• Ability to operate inventory systems and store equipment
• Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
• Ability to operate POS and Parts lookup systems
• Expertise at testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences

Nice to Have

• Fleet safety certification
• Spanish language skills
