About This Role

This is an entry-level sales position focused on supporting the DIY business and achieving sales and service objectives, requiring basic automotive system and parts knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to store sales goals
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Maintain store product and operational standards
• Perform inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, and back stock
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, and parking lot
• Perform general stocking duties including truck stocking and back stock
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed

Requirements

• Basic driving and navigation ability
• Ability to use delivery board system
• Friendly communication skills
• Ability to locate and stock parts
• Safety knowledge and skills
• Proficiency in operating inventory systems and store equipment
• Knowledge of parts and automotive systems
• Proficiency in operating POS and Parts lookup systems
• Expertise in testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service
• Ability to speak and write English effectively
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
• Ability to use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences

Nice to Have

• Fleet safety certification
• Spanish language skills
