About This Role

The Sales Specialist will leverage deep product knowledge to identify, nurture, and grow sales opportunities, building strong client relationships and contributing to strategic planning to improve sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the organization's products or services, including technical details, features, benefits, and competitive advantages
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals to offer tailored solutions
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets driving revenue growth
  • Utilize specialized knowledge to identify new customer value opportunities and expand existing ones in collaboration with account managers
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to assist in resource allocation and business planning
  • Deliver persuasive and effective sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing how the organization's offerings can solve specific problems and add value to their business
  • Share expertise and best practices with junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship to help them achieve their sales goals
  • Ensure that all sales activities adhere to industry regulations and organization policies
  • Stay current with and promote the use of sales technologies, tools, and software that can enhance the sales process

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience in technical selling, consultative selling, or account management
  • In-depth knowledge of products or services
  • Ability to build strong client relationships
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Proficiency in providing accurate sales forecasts
  • Experience delivering compelling sales presentations
  • Ability to share expertise and mentor junior team members
  • Adherence to industry regulations and organizational policies

Qualifications

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience
  • 10+ years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field
