About This Role

This role is responsible for driving revenue through contract renewals within a specific territory, proactively engaging customers to ensure high retention rates for Barracuda's cloud-enabled security solutions. The Sales Renewals Representative will execute strategies to increase customer loyalty, identify upsell opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a specific territory to drive sales revenue through contract renewals and maintain a high close rate
  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to inform customers of upcoming renewals and options 90 – 120 days in advance
  • Create, negotiate, and provide proposals and documentation 60 days in advance to facilitate renewals
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM System to document customer activity, manage pipeline, and forecast sales
  • Identify upsell opportunities within customer accounts and partner with sales representatives to close them
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Channel, and Sales teams to understand sales motions and address customer issues
  • Proactively monitor, identify risk points, and track and resolve issues to drive customer renewals
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets through accurate forecasting and strong sales skills

Requirements

  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and a track record of driving execution and operational excellence in a renewals environment
  • Passion for collaboration and a basic understanding of Internet security technology
  • Team-oriented with ability to succeed
  • Drive, conscientiousness, and perseverance to conduct daily outbound sales contacts
  • Ability to track information accurately and strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter, high energy, and results-oriented
