Drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences, primarily through engaging with customers, upselling accessories, conducting piercings, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals by providing excellent customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting current offers
- Perform ear piercings and provide aftercare education while maintaining a sterile environment
- Maintain visual merchandise displays, organized inventory, and clean store layouts
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to foster a positive, high-energy sales environment
- Represent Claire's products and services, staying updated on fashion and social media trends to assist customers with styling and boost sales
- Support store operations including processing deliveries, executing visual merchandising, and assisting with promotional activities
- Encourage customers to share their Claire’s purchases and piercings on social media
Requirements
- Ability to conduct ear piercings with patience and empathy
- Proficiency in operating a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Ability to stand during shifts and lift/maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs)
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and climb ladders/step stools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong grasp of mathematics and reading comprehension
- Passion for fashion and awareness of current trends
- Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during a shift
