Safety & Security Officer

About This Role

As a Safety & Security Officer (3rd Shift), you will patrol property areas, administer first aid/CPR, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents to ensure the safety and security of Owners/guests and associates at Marriott Vacations Worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property by foot or vehicle using specified equipment
• Administer first aid/CPR to Owners/guests or associates as required
• Ensure Owner/guest and meeting rooms are secure and assist with room access
• Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems
• Respond to Owner/guest or associate accidents and determine if emergency aid is required
• Defuse Owner/guest or associate disturbances/altercations following company policies and procedures
• Handle lost and found, logging and returning items
• Utilize computer systems, prepare and review written documents, and answer the phone using proper etiquette
• Oversee OSHA & FLS violations to mitigate risks throughout the property
• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull items that weigh up to 50lbs without assistance
• Valid Driver's License
