Rover Cleaner

About This Role

The Rover Cleaner maintains the cleanliness and order of commercial and industrial facilities, filling in for staff as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and a healthy environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and restock restrooms and common areas
• Empty trash cans and replace trash bags
• Clean corridors and stairwells
• Remove trash, clean floors, and dust/wipe down all surfaces
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Operate walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable)
• Clean and polish furniture, windows, doors, frames, ashtrays, and fixtures
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Maintain janitor closet and janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition
• Periodically clean overhead vents and dust blinds

Requirements

• Ability to be on feet during entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum
• Good hygiene skills
• Complete pre-employment background check (if applicable)
• Complete pre-employment drug screen (if applicable)
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or approved accommodation)
• Complete pre-employment motor vehicle record check
• Maintain a driving record that meets Pegasus' insurance carrier standards

Nice to Have

• Floor Care Experience
• GMP Micro Cleaner experience
• Proficiency in English
