Assist in overseeing the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance of refrigeration storage equipment at multiple locations
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs
- Conduct leak detection, required inspections, and reporting for refrigeration systems
- Evaluate and implement energy management strategies
- Complete small electrical repairs and brazing projects
- Log time and materials into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanup of all work areas
- Interpret and understand plans, specifications, schematics, and manuals for systems
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring in HVAC equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of related experience or education
- EPA 608 certification
- Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
