Maintenance Engineer Rover

About This Role

This role involves the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems across multiple commercial, industrial, and manufacturing facilities. The Maintenance Engineer Rover will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance of refrigeration storage equipment at multiple locations
• Log time and materials into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) on a daily basis
• Oversee and manage Refrigeration, Electrical, and HVAC systems including monitoring, trending, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Evaluate and report equipment condition to departmental management and maintenance teams
• Complete small electrical repairs and brazing projects as needed
• Interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals for systems
• Perform HVAC system inspections, adjustments, repairs, maintenance, and utilize automated management systems
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring in HVAC equipment
• Perform appliance repairs and other non-refrigeration tasks like light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical device repair
• Maintain all tools and equipment in clean, safe working order
• Complete/close tickets or work orders and document completed tickets in the system

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years of related experience or education
• EPA 608 certification
• Knowledge of controls and high/low voltage electric
