Road Driver - CDL A - Tanker

About This Role

Safely operate tanker trucks to transport bulk liquid chemicals and petroleum products across 49 states and Canada, maintaining strict safety protocols and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials
• Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with strict safety protocols
• Conduct and document Pre- and Post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers
• Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines
• Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License
• Tanker Endorsement (N)
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience
• At least 23 years of age
• Clean MVR and strong safety record
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
• Minimum 2 years of tanker experience within the last 5 years
• No DUI/OWI within the last 5 years
• Not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
• No preventable fatal or rollover accidents in the last 5 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 CSA moving violations in the last 18 months
• No falsification on driver application
• Must hold a current X endorsement

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable tanker driving experience; Minimum 2 years of tanker experience within the last 5 years

• Hazmat Endorsement (H)
• TWIC Card
