About This Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses patient needs, plans and delegates care, then evaluates the patient's response and progress towards desired outcomes. This role involves direct accountability for patient care delivered during assigned shifts within the Acute Medical Care Unit II.

Responsibilities

Identify patient needs and priorities for care through assessment
Plan and delegate care based on patient needs
Evaluate the patient's response to care and progress toward expected outcomes
Be accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift

Requirements

Current Alabama nursing licensure
BLS certification required before orientation conclusion
ACLS certification within one year of hire

Qualifications

Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
Experience preferred; new graduates accepted.
