This nursing position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, focusing on clinical excellence, safety, and service. The role supports the MHS Vision, Values, Mission, and Strategic Plans while functioning as a staff nurse and providing leadership as delegated by the Nurse Manager.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide patient care
- Assist the Nurse Manager in achieving an environment of excellence in clinical quality, safety, and service
- Support the Vision, Values, Mission, and Strategic Plans of MHS
- Function as a staff nurse and/or relief charge nurse as needed on assigned unit
- Assume a nursing leadership role as delegated by the Nurse Manager
- Communicate clearly and openly
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
- Be accountable for performance
- Always look for ways to improve the patient experience
- Take initiative for professional growth
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing
- Bachelor degree in Nursing
- 3 years of nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas
