PRN Physical Therapist Acute Care

About This Role

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide direct and indirect physical therapy care to assigned patients in an acute care setting, utilizing the Physical Therapy Act/Rules process for evaluation, treatment planning, re-assessment, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide care for patients
• Render professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Physical Therapy Act/Rules process
• Perform patient evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning
• Communicate clearly and openly
• Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year Licensed PT experience

Qualifications

Certifications
