RN Manager - Long Term Care

About This Role

Manage two long-term care units at a skilled nursing facility, overseeing resident care and leading staff with 24-hour accountability. This role focuses on mentoring and staff validation, offering work-life balance for an experienced RN leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage 2 long-term care units/skilled nursing facilities
• Exercise responsibility, authority, and 24-hour accountability for resident/patient management
• Oversee all employees assigned to units
• Mentor, teach, and follow up with staff to validate care processes
• Prioritize exemplary resident care aligning with the organization's mission

Requirements

• Experienced LTC/Geriatric nurse with skilled nursing facility experience
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 2 years as an RN in LTC, Transitional Care Unit, or comparable setting

Qualifications

• Education sufficient for licensure
• 2 years as an RN in LTC, Transitional Care Unit, or comparable setting.

Nice to Have

• Master's Degree in Nursing
• Advanced certification in Minimum Data Set-Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS-RAI)
• Supervisory experience with certified nursing assistants and licensed nurses
