The Care Manager RN utilizes in-depth knowledge of physical assessment and management of illnesses or conditions within the registered nurse's scope of practice. This role involves collaboration with other licensed health professionals and working directly with physicians on care plans. The position provides patient and family education, psychological support, social support, and survivorship care planning.
Responsibilities
- Utilize in depth knowledge of physical assessment and management of illnesses or conditions
- Collaborate with other licensed health professionals such as physicians, pharmacists, and other nurses
- Work directly with physicians on issues related to care plans
- Provide patient and family education
- Provide psychological support
- Provide social support
- Provide survivorship care planning throughout the continuum of care and services and beyond
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized program to obtain an RN license in the State of Washington
- Washington Registered Nurse License
Nice to Have
- 2 years Experience in Oncology nursing
