Risk Product Management Director Sr

About This Role

This Director-level role involves leading the development and implementation of complex product strategies for risk products across the enterprise or in a multi-state environment. The individual will partner with business and product leaders to ensure superior execution of product strategy in the marketplace. The role requires being in-office 3 days per week to foster collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain competitive risk products
• Partner with business and product leaders to achieve superior execution of product strategy in the marketplace
• Track individual product performance by benefit design, market segment, and sub region
• Support the development of short- and long-term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives
• Identify system needs to support short- and long-term product strategy
• Develop system requirements and ROI
• Lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of complex regional and companywide initiatives

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 7+ years of related experience
• Ability to work in-office 3 days per week in Chicago, IL or within commuting distance from an office

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• 7+ years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background and 7 years of experience in Product Management, healthcare financial and risk-modeling, or utilization management

Nice to Have

• MBA
• Intermediate or Advanced proficiency using Smartsheets, Jira, Jira Align, Aha!, MS Office Suite
• Ability to communicate to C-Suite leaders, strong executive- and client-facing communication capabilities
• 7 years of experience in Product Management, healthcare financial and risk-modeling, or utilization management
