Retail Sales Representative

About This Role

As a Retail Sales Representative, you will assist clients with their project needs, providing design suggestions and application recommendations for tile and stone products. You will be responsible for promoting the Bedrosians product line, achieving sales quotas, and nurturing relationships with industry professionals to increase business.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients with selections and follow-through on their orders
• Promote the Bedrosians product line and educate clients on products
• Develop relationships with industry professionals to increase business
• Enter orders, follow-up on back-orders, invoice orders, and follow proper pick-up procedures
• Maintain a neat and organized workspace, showroom, and sample department
• Assist with conducting inventory counts and review on order report daily
• Meet monthly sales quotas and focus on increasing sales to meet branch sales plan
• Multitask and prioritize work through effective time management
• Communicate all company and manufacturer recommendations and warnings for product application and installation
• Participate in weekly branch meetings and write thank-you notes to clients

Requirements

• 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Positive attitude
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent and professional phone skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Excellent understanding of design and color
• Flexible work schedule
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• College Degree or equivalent Design Degree preferred
• 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in the tile and stone industry
• Design experience
• Bi-lingual in Spanish
