About This Role

This role involves planning and directing retail projects, serving as a liaison between operations, sales, manufacturing partners, and customers. The Retail Sales Project Manager will ensure successful execution of projects from initiation to completion, focusing on private label and new product development.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between operations, sales, manufacturing partners, and customers for successful manufacturing of retail branded and/or private label products
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for total project execution, performance, and safety on all assigned projects
  • Author and maintain accurate specifications and technical documents including Bill of Materials, Finished Good Specifications, ART, and Pallet Patterns
  • Communicate project milestones, status updates, and customer escalation issues to all concerned parties
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on the Retail Team for information regarding product specs, production status, and timing related to product and/or program development
  • Proactively seek solutions to project constraints and risks
  • Drive improved customer relationships through creating a positive work environment and meeting/exceeding performance expectations

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills
  • Prior experience in a retail, contract manufacturing, or manufacturing environment (3-5 years preferred)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business information, specs, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Strong ability to solve complex problems effectively
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook
  • Comfort with technology

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in a retail, contract manufacturing, or manufacturing environment
