Forklift Material Handler

About This Role

Support the production of household and consumer products in a climate-controlled warehouse by safely operating a sit-down electric forklift and handling materials. This role involves supplying production lines, managing raw materials and finished goods, and maintaining an organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely
• Supply production lines with correct raw materials to meet demands
• Complete Lot tracking of all incoming raw materials and packaging components
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
• Pick and stage finished goods proactively
• Properly mark raw materials
• Remove waste from production lines
• Utilize RF scan gun technologies for scanning and barcoding into aScan system
• Process all required paperwork accurately and timely

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Ability to read a pick-list and use an electronic inventory control system
• Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and understand instructions
• Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, organized warehouse and work area

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
