Support the production of household and consumer products in a climate-controlled warehouse by safely operating a sit-down electric forklift and handling materials. This role involves supplying production lines, managing raw materials and finished goods, and maintaining an organized work area.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely
- Supply production lines with correct raw materials to meet demands
- Complete Lot tracking of all incoming raw materials and packaging components
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
- Pick and stage finished goods proactively
- Properly mark raw materials
- Remove waste from production lines
- Utilize RF scan gun technologies for scanning and barcoding into aScan system
- Process all required paperwork accurately and timely
Requirements
- Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to read a pick-list and use an electronic inventory control system
- Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and understand instructions
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, organized warehouse and work area
