Retail Merchandiser

About This Role

Execute merchandising standards for Anderson Merchandisers to drive sales and meet client expectations in a territory. Build rapport with store associates, educate customers on brands, and maintain high quality work standards.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport through daily communication with store associates and management
• Educate customers and store personnel on the features and benefits of our client’s brands and product lines
• Execute all required tasks, projects, resets, displays with accuracy following all provided instructions
• Maintain accuracy and high quality of work to meet or exceed client expectations
• Merchandise and execute all assigned projects with required quality and accuracy to maintain account aesthetics and consistently deliver above average project execution compliance
• Communicate daily to the Territory Sales Lead regarding activities, sales opportunities, and potential barriers
• Utilize all available functions of handheld device consistently
• Maintain company, client and retailer confidentiality

Requirements

• Ability to lift objects and product up to 50 lbs (frequently 35 lbs), and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Ability to work while sitting, standing or walking, including fine manipulation, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnights and weekends
• High School diploma or equivalency certification
• Valid driver's license
• Automobile liability insurance
• Access to a computer, internet access, printing capabilities, and e-mail

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency certification required
