Retail Inventory & Operations Specialist

About This Role

This role oversees daily dispensary operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing inventory, supporting sales, and maintaining high customer service standards in a fast-paced cannabis industry environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational execution, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed
• Manage ordering of supplies and building maintenance needs
• Investigate and prevent asset loss through regular inventory audits and loss prevention B
• Execute weekly CRA compliance store walkthroughs and ensure adherence to state regulations
• Monitor inventory KPIs, oversee order receiving, and manage inventory levels for product requests
• Conduct scheduled cycle counts, manage aging inventory, and handle waste and faulty products
• Maintain a positive work environment, motivate staff, and inform them of new products
• Conduct vault counts, oversee invoicing processes, and submit vendor credit requests

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry and compliance rules
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to undergo a background check
• Ability to accommodate scheduling expectations, including weekends, holidays and evening hours

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• At least two (2) years of inventory management experience is preferred
