Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) PRN Nights

About This Role

Join our team as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures to chronically and critically ill patients. You will also maintain equipment and perform phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients
• Maintain all equipment in working order
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested

Requirements

• Certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma, preferably an associate degree, for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred, or desire and commitment to learn if prior inpatient hospital experience is lacking

Nice to Have

• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience
• Prior inpatient hospital experience

Certifications
