Join our team as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, providing routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures to chronically and critically ill patients. You will also maintain equipment and perform basic laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients
- Maintain all equipment in working order
- Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested
Requirements
- Certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma, preferably an associate degree (for arterial punctures/blood gas facilities)
- Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Prior inpatient hospital experience
- Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience
