Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)

About This Role

Join a healthcare team to provide respiratory care services to chronically and critically ill patients, performing routine, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients
• Maintain all respiratory equipment in working order
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested

Requirements

• Certified or licensed in state to practice respiratory care
• Current BLS and ACLS certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma, preferably an associate degree, for arterial punctures and blood gases
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred. Prior inpatient hospital experience or desire to learn.
