Residential Team Lead

About This Role

Lead and guide residential support staff at Pollard Place, overseeing daily operations and supporting adults with severe mental illness in their daily living and psychosocial needs. Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment promoting recovery and independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to Residential Support Staff
• Assist and monitor residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Supervise medication self-administration in accordance with established guidelines
• Coordinate and oversee daily activities, programming, and resident schedules
• Support psychosocial rehabilitation and skill-building activities
• Ensure a structured, safe, and supportive residential environment
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and supervisors
• Accurately document resident activities, behaviors, and progress

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work effectively with adults who have severe mental illness in a residential setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and documentation requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the SMI population
• Experience building resident skills and providing guidance to staff
• Ability to supervise daily activities and resident schedules

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Prior experience working with individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
• Experience in residential, behavioral health, or human services settings
• Previous supervisory or lead experience
