Residential Supervisor

About This Role

Oversee the daily operations of community residential sites to provide a safe and enriching environment for program participants. This role involves staff supervision, implementing individualized support plans, participating in leadership activities, and promoting the wellbeing and personal growth of individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oversight for two or more 24-hour or intermittent community residential sites, including on-call responsibilities, at least two late-night shifts per week, and two weekends per month
• Review applications and conduct interviews for hiring, promotion, termination, and evaluation of staff
• Assign and manage staff schedules and rotations
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for program participants and employees by completing checklists and initiating maintenance requests
• Ensure full implementation of each participant's implementation strategy (flourish plans) and behavior support plans
• Instruct and carry out written implementation strategies and behavior support plans
• Encourage individuals to engage in community activities and events, individually and in small groups
• Monitor the implementation of medical and special dietary needs for each program participant
• Collaborate with Community Day Services and Supportive Employment staff to foster growth for program participants
• Function as a member of the Trinity leadership team, actively participating in network and organization-wide committees, task groups, and annual leadership retreat
• Participate in on-site Pre-service (Orientation) and other required in-person trainings in the New Lenox area

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License

• High School diploma or GED

• Training and knowledge in behavioral sciences
• Supervisory experience
