Residential Program Manager

About This Role

Manage and improve residential programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing leadership for quality improvement initiatives within EBED Community Improvement, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Recommend process changes to enhance operations or improve outcomes
• Collaborate with Agency management to develop and implement tracking and monitoring systems for compliance
• Perform on-site audits at licensed facilities to evaluate compliance with COMAR and accreditation standards
• Guide site staff in developing quality improvement data and collection procedures
• Prepare and submit site survey reports with improvement recommendations
• Assist with review and analysis of financial, clinical, and operational performance indicators
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff
• Audit medical records and monitor performance related to healthcare risk management
• Oversee new staff orientation and ensure ongoing required staff trainings are completed
• Coordinate staff and on-call schedules
• Supervise Certified Medication Technicians and ensure compliance with performance standards
• Present and implement all agency policies and procedures
• Provide direct care services to participants promoting growth, independence, and dignity

Requirements

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
• Experience working with developmentally disabled adults
• Current PPD
• All state-required training
• Successful drug test and criminal background check

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in health, human services, or business preferred or four (4) years of related work experience
• (3) years in a supervisory role in a community residential setting preferred, or four (4) years of related work experience

Nice to Have

• Exceptional Knowledge of state regulations and accreditation standards (especially COMAR) for Residential Program
