Manage, direct, and administer resident services within the community, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry standards, and governmental regulations to maintain high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities
- Manage, direct, and administer resident services in accordance with company policies, standards of practice, and governmental regulations.
- Maintain quality care for all residents.
- Comply with community personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
- Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director.
- Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
- Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care.
- Monitor and assist with compliance with policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations concerning nursing care.
- Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with all State and Federal requirements regarding admission.
- Assist and execute Negotiated Service Agreements.
- Participate in the selection of personnel, orientation, and monitoring of staff competence.
- Maintain communication with physicians and pharmacy as required.
Requirements
- Valid professional license (LPN or RN) and in good standing with the state
- Valid CPR certification
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
- Ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
