Resident Care Coordinator

About This Role

Manage, direct, and administer resident services within the community, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry standards, and governmental regulations to maintain high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct, and administer resident services in accordance with company policies, standards of practice, and governmental regulations.
• Maintain quality care for all residents.
• Comply with community personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report witnessed or reported allegations of resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Review and supervise compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care.
• Monitor and assist with compliance with policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations concerning nursing care.
• Assist residents with admission and ensure compliance with all State and Federal requirements regarding admission.
• Assist and execute Negotiated Service Agreements.
• Participate in the selection of personnel, orientation, and monitoring of staff competence.
• Maintain communication with physicians and pharmacy as required.

Requirements

• Valid professional license (LPN or RN) and in good standing with the state
• Valid CPR certification
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Ability to work beyond normal working hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
• Ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
