Research Manager

About This Role

Oversee commercial real estate markets in Texas, developing world-class research and insights to differentiate Savills as a market leader. This role involves analyzing office and industrial market data, leading a team, and enhancing the research platform.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the overall strategic research plan for the Southwest region in alignment with research leadership and management teams
• Maintain extensive knowledge of conditions, factors, and trends affecting office and industrial markets within the region
• Provide regular updates to, and maintenance of, internal databases and corporate-wide CRM platform
• Partner with the business to promote data quality tools, collection methodologies, controls, and overall quality awareness
• Work seamlessly with brokerage and marketing teams, business leaders, subject matter experts, and research colleagues
• Develop strong relationships with both internal and external clients and facilitate the use of research as a differentiator
• Lead and leverage relationships with external research peers and experts in the local real estate community
• Expand and improve the research platform, program, output, and staff skills

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related real estate and/or research and analysis experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong problem-solving, analytic and data visualization skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performing teams
• Ability to think strategically, and operate/act tactically
• Self-motivated, adaptable and resilient
• Accomplished with Microsoft Office suite, CoStar, Tableau, Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum 5 years of related real estate and/or research and analysis experience

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Alteryx and various other types of analytical and presentation software
• Salesforce experience
