About This Role

Implement the Recovery Model, working with residents to promote hope, autonomy, and self-determination for individuals affected by mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Prompt residents to start their day and assist with daily activities
  • Monitor medication and facilitate transportation
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Make appointments
  • Assist with cleaning and cooking
  • Provide overall caregiving support
  • Support individuals in their recovery journey from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field is preferred
  • At least one year of experience in the mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services field
