Rehab Tech

About This Role

As a Rehab Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, servicing, and repairing complex rehab equipment, managing order progress, and ensuring accurate delivery and adjustments. This role significantly impacts communities by providing essential durable medical equipment services.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluation on Rehab equipment for needed repairs
• Confirm all items are accurate in received PO’s for all new and service related orders
• Unbox and build Rehab equipment correctly
• Manage Rehab inventory and workspace, including batteries and basic stock equipment
• Ship warranty parts back to Manufacturer (MFR)
• Notify Rehab coordinator once items are built and ready for delivery
• Deliver equipment and complete any necessary adjustments
• Cultivate relationships with clients and referrals
• Gather required quotes from MFR’s
• Install, replace, and repair equipment in shop and in field

Requirements

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
• Proactive, responsible personality
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer data entry skills and ability to learn BHC's systems
