As a Registered Nurse in Surgical Services at Fauquier Health, you will perform patient assessments, identify needs, and implement nursing interventions across a wide variety of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive robotic surgery. You will contribute to making communities healthier by providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Requirements
- Current Virginia state or compact state RN license
- Basic Life Support certification within 7 days of hire
- ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Previous OR/Surgical Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Must have previous OR/Surgical Experience
