Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Cath Lab

About This Role

This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Fauquier Health. The nurse will perform patient assessments, identify needs, initiate interventions, and ensure accurate documentation, contributing to the health of the community.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patients
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient

Requirements

• Current Virginia state or compact state RN license
• Basic Life Support certification within 7 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• RN Cath Lab experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• RN Cath Lab experience
