The Registered Nurse (RN) in Intermediate Care provides comprehensive, patient-centered care using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making. You will deliver safe, therapeutic care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and advocating for patient needs to achieve optimal health outcomes in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
- Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Advocate for patient needs
- Uphold professional practice standards
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- 1 year of RN experienced preferred
