Collaborate with behavioral health treatment teams in inpatient units to provide integrated, evidence-based treatment and medication administration to clients. Educate clients on prescriptions and general health needs, helping to develop treatment plans aligned with their goals.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient reaction to medications
- Advise families about medications and treatment
- Complete nursing intake assessments
- Participate in collaborative treatment planning for each client
- Assess clients for safety and risk to self or others
- Follow policies, training, and techniques for managing aggressive behavior
- Ensure the safety of self, other staff, and clients by properly using personal protective equipment
- Complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State
- Willingness to comply with N95 respirator requirements (including facial hair removal for fit testing)
- Driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
