About This Role

This consultative sales role drives profitable business through end users and distributors, focusing on territory management, identifying customer needs, and optimizing existing accounts to increase market share and new product sales for industrial MRO product lines.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve total sales goals for assigned product segments and SKUs within a defined geographic territory
  • Develop a distribution partner strategy for the assigned region, focusing on organic revenue growth with key distributors
  • Educate, engage, and support distributors through ride-alongs, business reviews, open houses, and co-op marketing programs
  • Develop a strategic vision to grow with end users, identifying conversion opportunities, coordinating product trials, and negotiating commercial terms
  • Communicate financial results and strategic intent within the assigned territory
  • Utilize Salesforce.com (SFDC) for funnel/pipeline management, SPA entry, CBI documentation, and sales campaigns
  • Coordinate and communicate on open orders, shipping, and accounts receivable to ensure complete account management
  • Attend business meetings, trade shows, and other industry/business events as required
  • Execute ad-hoc projects, plans, campaigns, or initiatives as directed by the commercial management team
  • Comply with reporting timelines and requirements for Workday activities and required trainings

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ sales experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Experienced in conducting effective and professional sales/product training via in-person or virtual (Webinar)
  • Experience in successful sales strategy formulation and execution
  • Proven experience in meeting sales goals/quotas and ability to prospect and close sales to new and existing customers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ sales experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in gathering market intelligence and conducting competitive analysis
  • Business classes/seminars, including organization and time management, Business Administration, and various sales
