Lead and manage the Kosher division's sales strategy, volume growth, and market penetration across the Tri-State area for a beverage co-packing company. This hands-on, field-based role involves leveraging an existing network to open new accounts and deepen relationships with existing key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the Kosher department’s sales strategy, volume growth, and market penetration across the Tri-State area
- Leverage personal network and industry experience to open new accounts with Kosher-specific distributors, independent grocers, supermarket chains, and food service providers
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing key accounts, ensuring optimal product placement and promotional activity
- Spend the majority of time "on the road" visiting customers, monitoring store-level execution, and identifying local market trends
- Analyze sales data to forecast inventory needs and report progress to executive leadership
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience specifically within the Kosher food or beverage industry
- Current, active network of contacts within the NY-NJ-PA Kosher market (buyers, distributors, and store owners)
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a division
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong negotiation skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience specifically within the Kosher food or beverage industry
