Manufacturing Operator

About This Role

The Manufacturing Operator at Tampa Bay Bottling Company is responsible for ensuring safe operating procedures, maintaining product quality, and accurately completing production paperwork. This role involves operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment in a food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe operating procedures
• Ensure components are properly counted, labeled, and stored
• Ensure correct caps are utilized and stored properly
• Ensure quality of finished goods at assigned workstation, including proper fill height and cap application
• Fill out all paperwork accurately and completely, including quality checks and component tracking
• Follow company GMP policies and use appropriate PPE
• Maintain a clean work area and make productive use of work time
• Monitor line status and adjust equipment speeds to maintain line balance
• Perform CIP for filler in accordance with SOP
• Support compliance activities for the Quality Management System (SQF, GMP, SOP)
• Verify that tools for Operator QC checks are calibrated and in good working condition
• Verify that filler is set-up properly and ready for production with correct change parts
• Verify that Filler operator paperwork is correct for product to be produced

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform physical work in varied environments
• Ability to read and comprehend technical literature, instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, percent, conversions, rounding)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-speed moving manufacturing equipment
