Responsibilities

• Guide and support nursing centers in navigating Medicaid eligibility requirements
• Act as the go-to resource for nursing center staff regarding Medicaid
• Identify and overcome challenges in the Medicaid application process
• Collaborate with nursing center staff and state agencies to ensure timely approvals
• Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support on Medicaid eligibility
• Ensure compliance and best practices in Medicaid eligibility processes
• Analyze key metrics and track progress related to revenue cycle management
• Implement strategies to improve revenue cycle management and reduce bad debt

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in nursing home bookkeeping
• Strong understanding of Medicaid

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in nursing home bookkeeping.
